  1. >With photos released late last night by ITV News of the prime minister drinking and toasting his colleague in front of a table full of booze while at a leaving party in lockdown, the police have looked to defend the outcome of their investigation by insisting that he definitely wasn’t there, according to his questionnaire answers.

    >A spokesperson for the Met confirmed, **“***He wasn’t there and didn’t do anything, it says so right there in his questionnaire.*

[The best police force in the world](https://www.met.police.uk/police-forces/metropolitan-police/areas/about-us/about-the-met/vision-and-values/).

  2. I was just wondering, just how stupid does the Met think Londoners are? Do the police even worry about how diminished their reputation is, do they not worry that they will be seen as simply corrupt beyond repair? No way to run a country that’s for damn sure.

  3. In all seriousness. if he is found to have lied on the questionnaire then would that not amount to Perverting the course of justice, resulting possibly in a custodial sentence a-la Chris Huhne

  4. The lines between reality and satire are getting murkier and murkier. If it wasn’t for the flair I’d have thought this to be real.

  5. I wouldnt be surprised if ‘photoshopped’ was the line the tories took anyway

Any excuse to sneak through another week
