The Met are complicit. There’s an officer stationed outside the door & it’s one of the most surveillanced place in the world. They handed out questionnaires and allowed them to check answers with eachother before they handed them in, I wonder if they allowed any members of the public to do the same?
Witch hunt.
Trying to subvert a police decision based on politics.

Let’s get this clear please. He was ambushed by a glass of wine.
Should not politicised the police like this.
“Why didn’t you investigate my political opponent?” is terrible precedent.
“Shapps denies PM was partying” – Government running on the 1984 playbook I see of rejecting the evidence of your eyes and ears.
If a copper walked into my house and saw that exact scene with people and bottles of alcohol, he would have fined me on the spot, even if I was working, I doubt I would have been allowed to explain myself or the reasons for the gathering…
“What kind of pathetic loser thinks *that* is a party. There’s no blow, there’s no call girls…”
They have no shame. They know there is nothing anyone can or will do about them or the PM, it is as simple as that. They have butt loads of money and you do not. Simple.
I’d prefer private security and my taxes back.
The BBC had a very annoying video on their YouTube channel where all 2 panel members (both old white male and likely Tory’s) defended the PM. I am usually a defender when both sides call the BBC biased but that was not a good look imo.
The Tories are baying for Starmer’s blood for having a beer at a work gathering that lasted long enough for people to order a takeaway for. The party of law and order is much quieter when it comes to their own leader being caught out having a bonafide party. The double standards would be shocking if it was standard Tory behaviour by now.
2015
Grant Shapps, the Tory party chairman, had a second job as a “multimillion-dollar web marketer” under the pseudonym Michael Green for at least year after he first became an MP.
It is a suggestion that Shapps has repeatedly denied for three years, but the Guardian has discovered a recording from the summer of 2006 in which the Conservative MP for Welwyn Hatfield boasts his products could make listeners a “ton of cash by Christmas”.
