  1. Divide the media’s attention and bribe the public to save Big Dog!

That people’s suffering is being used to, err, distract from people’s suffering whilst others got shit-faced should enraged people.

  2. This is why every single Tory MP voted against the windfall tax not even a week ago. This is why ‘all options are on the table’ has been their go to response to questions on the cost of living crisis.

These fucking cunts waited until they knew when the Grey report was coming out, so they could THEN announce how they’re going to actually try and do their job and help, to distract us.

    And it will work.

They toyed with peoples lives for their own political gain. We should stop burning effigies of Guy Fawkes every year and start emulating him.

  3. The government offered £150 in actual cash (+ a £200 loan) when the price cap went up by £700 in April, and in October it’s expected to go up by *another* £800, what are we gonna get this time?

  4. So the government has been sat on this whilst waiting for the Sue Gray report? The fucking state of them.

  5. I see, they’re going to try and butter us up with promises of saving us from the cost of living in an effort to distract us from Partygate. Hush money. Classic tory move, no doubt taken out of the paedophile playbook, silence the victim and carry on as normal.

  6. Can’t wait for the election bragging how the Tories saved the rising cost of living… which was their responsibility in the first place. People will eat it up and vote for them, again. Rinse and repeat.

  7. Oh …. SUDDENLY we are going to get some sort of windfall tax. As if by magic its a reasonable Idea to these wankers.

    Fuck the lot of them.

  8. This is actually pathetic

Pretty sure they sat on helping people to use as a deflection from the Sue Gray report release

Basically toss the plebs a bone to distract them… it’s disgusting

  9. I am beginning to feel like many Germans did in the 1930s trying to warn people and nobody is listening. Hitler came about because of defeat, poor economic conditions, people had lost faith in democracy. Does that sound familiar? People since the late 70s have seen their living standards eroded. Whole communities left to rot and nobody in our so called democracy is listening.

  10. Remember everyone. Its the Islington Labour London out of touch elite that thinks the electorate are stupid. Not the friends of the working class Tory party.

  11. So another £150 whilst the price of electricity doubles again.

    Yay.

This is pure chocolate ration stuff.

    > It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week.
