NBC Sports has enlisted Idaho natives Heather Cox and Picabo Street for commentary roles at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

BOISE, Idaho — Team Idaho continues to grow behind the scenes.

NBC Sports announced Tuesday a roster of 82 commentators for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, including two Idaho natives: Heather Cox and Picabo Street.

Cox, who calls Boise home, will report on two sports: Alpine skiing and the brand-new Olympic Sport, Ski Mountaineering, or “Skimo.”

This is her ninth Olympic Games, previously reporting at the Paris, Beijing, and Tokyo Games.

In the summer of 2025, she was honored with a statue in Sun Valley.
