Hi all,
Hoping someone could give me a dig out and throw their eyes over something 🍻
We’ve been trying to create Google Maps of counties with the various things to do plotted and grouped (e.g. Walks, beaches, viewpoints etc.) for theirishroadtrip.com
They’ve been fine…ish to do, but we’ve come to Cork and, although there’s been about a day put into it, I feel like it’s missing a rake of stuff.
Or maybe I’m just being paranoid and it’s grand.
If any of you that are familiar with Cork had a minute to throw your eyes over it and shout if we’re missing anything it’d be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: FFS I’ve no idea how to update that title mistype from my phone

There’s an app for Cork, [Explore Cork,](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.traceapp.explorecorkapp&hl=en_IE&gl=US) might help you out.
You’re missing Doneraile Wildlife Park as well.
Damn. Haven’t come across that. Thank you!!!!
I taught you forgot spike island and I was like YES! I got one but its tagged were the ferry leaves…. thanks
There’s a harbour cruise company based off of custom house Quay at the tip of the city centre island. They may be placed somewhere else though?
Another one for Cork City here

And East Cork here

Also Power Head cliff walk.
There are walks at [Little Island](https://goo.gl/maps/JzZX9fZGBetEeqP66), the [Lee Fields](https://goo.gl/maps/iYztVLWyZcy19sE18) and the [Coachford Greenway](https://goo.gl/maps/N8yRbaKR2BinQmSe8), a great [cliff walk at Knockadoon](https://goo.gl/maps/RsyoeXyFvfXvGq1K7) and woods at [Ballyannan](https://goo.gl/maps/x89HRMwmy55i5nYg6) outside Midleton, [Currabinny](https://goo.gl/maps/8kUokRCm4iAPAiYBA) across from Crosshaven and [Tracton](https://goo.gl/maps/AgBxchueQTdxTWnw6) south from Carrigaline. I would also suggest adding the [Carrigaline-Crosshaven walkway](https://goo.gl/maps/zYZKK1uCxeZiuDZi7), since it’s a very popular recreational walk linking the two towns. [Knockakeo Wood](https://goo.gl/maps/AsAfwxigwzoiU44m7) is also worth adding, though there’s not much parking. [Ballymartle Wood](https://goo.gl/maps/qEZ7yJQEmKAKr2YcA) (there are north and south entrances) is small but nice. Rostellan Wood (which you have) has [a tidal dolmen](https://goo.gl/maps/oXYHuom8cVTFMhhAA) (which you don’t) – I assume you’re not adding every sub-site but [it’s pretty cool](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/794931743337480242/823229426288164944/image0.jpg) on its own merits. I’ll also note that Castlemartyr’s woods are actually three separate woods, although the two on either side of the hotel connect through its grounds – the smallest wood (Barn Wood) I wouldn’t bother including, as it only goes to some telecoms masts, and you already have Pigeon Wood; but I’d say it’s worth marking [Mitchell’s Wood](https://goo.gl/maps/pPDXfmXYTCsooLCi8), with its own car park, separately. There’s also a back entrance to Moanbaun Wood through [Knockeen Wood](https://goo.gl/maps/kmgdvGHuTbASXiV57), which isn’t big enough to stand on its own merits but I’m sure ye’ve your own standards for inclusion. I noticed [Moananig Wood](https://goo.gl/maps/CkeKfzDPrV3s7oNo9) on Google Maps while looking around there, but I’ve never been so I don’t know how legit an attraction it is. The Gearagh ([north car park](https://goo.gl/maps/SmP6tmvL3vpRq3nN6); [south car park](https://goo.gl/maps/TK27Bvh6d7TvGGh38)) is an alluvial forest drowned after a hydroelectric dam was built downriver, with walks following the old roads.
[Timoleague Friary](https://goo.gl/maps/qh84tnzSL7mA9oTq5) is a cool historical site in a lovely little town.
You *need* to include [Lough Hyne](https://goo.gl/maps/tGSYGj2e2DDtaBHVA). It has a forest hill walk ([Knockomagh](https://goo.gl/maps/mB3Rj6io2Sfe5saL6)) which offers some fantastic views, and the lough itself is a magnificent and unique environment. There’s also kayaking (including nighttime stargazing, on kayaks!) there.
Fair play for compiling this thing in general. I’ll definitely be making use of it in the future. Sound!
