Compared to last year, Russian chip exports increased by 6% in volume and 17% in value, despite 2024 being a record year for deliveries of this product. Over 10 months, Belarus purchased chips worth more than $86 million.
Besides Belarus, the top three buyers of Russian products also included Kazakhstan (about $57 million) and Uzbekistan (about $20 million).
According to ITC Trade Map data, in 2024, the main suppliers of potato chips globally were the Netherlands ($543 million), Belgium ($482 million), and the USA ($363 million).
