As reported by the X social network, Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson wrote about the readiness to provide fighter jets and demining assistance after the war ends.

Sweden is ready to contribute to the security of Ukraine and Europe after an agreement to end Russia’s war.

According to the agency, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson commented on social media after a Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris, with Ukraine and the United States in attendance.

Sweden’s stance on peace and defense support

According to the prime minister, after signing a peace agreement Sweden will transfer Gripen fighters to Ukraine for air surveillance over the country, provide resources for demining the Black Sea, and continue training Ukrainian service members.

Following the meeting, the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing, Ukraine, and the United States signed a joint statement “Reliable Security Guarantees for a Strong and Lasting Peace in Ukraine.”
