I believe it shows you how long the particular train is in carts – rather nice as it ensures you won’t have to run if you end up in the wrong end of the station due to a short train arriving
Shows what part of the platform the train is gonna stop at. And how long the train is.
You can actually do the checkout online when you get an email about the missing checkout.
You’re standing at the white dot. The train are the red dots. This train is half the length of the platform.
Total squares = the platform length
Red squares = Where on the platform the train will be
White arrow = Where on the platform the sign is
Shows wether it’s a long train or a short train. In this case it’s a short train.

It’s a rating of the destination. It means Farum is a mediocre town.
It was a couple of years ago when I overheard a father explain what this was to his kid. I had no idea, and I have been taking the train my whole life.
Funny, when the S-tog comes rolling in with only 4 carriages, some people call it Hamster. I don’t know why.
The red squares show the length of the train, and the dot mark the sign.
