I really really appreciated this. They don’t answer polite questions. A sorry state we find ourselves in.
Had to look up [*in his pomp*](https://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/in+his+pomp):
> At the peak of one’s skill or physical ability; in one’s most successful or productive period
Sky’s Sam Coates goes [full Steve Bray](https://twitter.com/aljwhite/status/1529116956825100289) (see video):
• To Johnson: “Did you lie at the despatch box, prime minister?”
• To Patel: “Do you endorse law-breaking in cabinet, Priti Patel?”
• To Shapps: “Would you defend anything at all, Grant Shapps?”
• To Raab: “Has Boris Johnson got a better grip on the government than you had on the foreign office last year?”
For an interesting Sky News contrast, check [this video](https://nitter.net/MrKRudd/status/1528294370700455936#m):
> After their company-wide campaign to prevent the election of a Labor Govt, the Murdoch monopoly isn’t taking it well. Just take a look at Murdoch’s positioning for the next 3 years.

I enjoy watching Sam Coates shout at ministers, but they’ve all been told to just respond with “Morning Sam” and just carry on walking.
The only person I’ve seen actually answer a question was JRM, and even then it was just to espouse the virtues of child labour or penny farthings or some such shit.
As cathartic as it is to hear that, it seems more performative to me, rather than anything likely to generate a comment
