I love the energy of the man telling the Guards to get ’em

  1. That man is witnessing what all public transport users in Dublin merely dream of.. he speaks for all of us

  2. The way that gard went from 0 to 60 in pulling that scummer out of the train when asked “am I being arrested”. Absolutely beautiful to see.

  3. Very pleasing to see. This country is flooded with these little shits, thinking they’re above the fucking law.

  4. Lovely. Last thing I heard on the video was a muffled “I dun nuttin’ wrong. I dun nuttin’ ” . I reckon yer man praising the Guards may beg to differ.

  5. Canada Goose jacket ✅

    Shit haircut ✅

Boys trying to be hard men but in numbers only ✅

The baldy Guard like an Irish version of Hank from Breaking Bad and a hero to us all ✅

The vid is from 2020/2021 but it’s still fucking glorious to see again

Not the first time Dublin skanks have featured on the front page of the very busy r/publicoutrage and won’t be the last

  6. We need more people like that in Ireland – people not afraid to confront and deal with shit-heads. This country suffers fools way too much – I fecking love this dude and will buy him a pint if I ever see him out.

  7. Not sure if I’m missing it, i don’t see any bottles being thrown? Was that before the video started, and if so why were they chilling until he got closer?

  8. Hilarious. Guarantee they’re probably from fuckin’ Stillorgan or somewhere, too, and thought they’d act the hard lad.

  9. “At the end of the day, whatever like”

Here, fuck off ya tool. That’s the most scumbag Dublin teen shite I have ever heard. Throwing bottles at the shades and telling you “Ah sure, it’s grand that we are holding everybody up”

  10. proper escalation of force isn’t being used here, the officer had no reason to believe the kids wouldn’t be compliant and it’s not like they were a threat to anybody on board the train, at worst they were a nuisance.

That simply isn’t how the guards should be arresting people, I don’t care how much of a prick the kids were being, the officers went well above the necessary force to restrain them.

  11. I hope the Guards gave them a few discreet slaps or kicks when they had them. I hope so because the Courts will do nothing.

  12. I remember when this was originally posted about a year ago most of the comments were appalled that the Guards would use force like that. Lot of people saying that the Guard was on a power trip, the guy praising them was an obsequious sycophant, etc.

I’ve never really known what to make of this video, but it’s funny to me how much the attitude in the comments has flipped. Everyone loves the Guards, anyone criticising them is downvoted.

Any theories as to why the shift in attitude?

  13. That man expressed thousands of public transport users’ thoughts. And well done to the guards for treating those brats as they deserved.

  14. I see a few comments expressing that Guards are being too rough but were they not throwing bottles at the Guards?
Isn’t that technically assault and assaulting a Guard at that.

I am pretty sympathetic towards the Gardai, they seem to have a tough job.
People only remember the wankers that pull them over but never the ones who are helpful.

  15. Bravo to the Guards – we need more of this.

These little pricks should know that if the cops turn up they’ll get a severe fucking hiding.

That’s how it used to be done. The old ways work.

  16. I’ve seen the full video and the guy in the hat gets way too big for his boots and starts threatening people who had nothing to do with it “do you wanna go with them do ya?”

One of the guys he threatens is the lad who enters the frame and stands beside the door before the video cuts.

  17. Wonderful to see the Garda actually arresting teenage lads.
    They think they’re untouchable.

If we want more people to ditch the car for public transport, then we have to ensure public transport is a safe & comfortable space where acting like a scumbag will not be tolerated, especially by the Garda.
