Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is on a visit to Cyprus, has had a meeting with Moldova’s President Maia Sandu to discuss the two countries’ path towards the European Union.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Cyprus on 7 January, which is beginning its term holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
As part of the visit, Zelenskyy held talks with Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides, where they discussed progress towards opening negotiating clusters.
