According to regional authorities, 27 attack UAVs landed on 13 locations, and debris fell on one of them. The incident demonstrates a persistent risk to infrastructure and security in several regions of the country.

Russian forces regularly employ various means of destruction – strike UAVs, missiles, and systems such as KABs and MLRS – to attack Ukrainian regions.

The official position of Moscow regarding the strikes differs from how Ukraine and international institutions assess them: Kyiv and global organizations view these actions as deliberate military operations with potential war crimes.

“Their actions show signs of criminal offenses defined by Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ‘Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer’ and Article 194 ‘Deliberate destruction or damage of property’.”
