A pedestrian has died after being hit by the driver of a vehicle in central Etobicoke on Thursday morning.
The crash happened near Islington Avenue and Dixon Road.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
They say the driver remained on scene.
Paramedics said the victim is a female.
Currently, Islington is closed at Dixon as police investigate, and drivers are being advised to use alternate routes.
