  1. Is this the first ‘crack’ in the real cordon sanitair?

Also, I can’t help but to think a university can choose to not give the stage but still they do, why?

It’s one thing to ‘acknowledge’ their viewpoints and that they exist, it’s another to give them free speech for an hour or so to influence and spread their political views, which are quite contradictory even to the ‘modern’ catholic ideas they claim to hold?

  2. Severely disappointed in the KUL to be honest. I understand one should be confronted with different viewpoints etc. But not all viewpoints are in any way equal, nor worth listening to.

  3. I cannot understand why KU Leuven would invite someone who threatened there will be a reckoning with leftist teachers after 2024. That’s a Cultural Revolution rethorical style directly affecting universities.

On the other hand, maybe there will be some shit throwing around, you know literally. Ah one could only hope..

  4. If well moderated like explained in the article then I don’t see why this should be a negative thing.

  5. Ignoring them is fearing them. By ignoring, you give them fuel to exist. The unkown is always more appealing then the things you do know. Its strange no one dares to debate with them.
