Morgan Stanley’s Australian bankers have collected their best pay packets in years as Wall Street rides high on a deregulation push and lower interest rates despite local deal volumes still lagging long-run averages.
The investment bank’s Australian bonus pool was up between 10 per cent and 20 per cent this year, according to people familiar with bonuses handed out globally on Wednesday morning.
