Russian parliament scraps age limit for army recruits

  1. title should really say “upper” age limit because it makes it sound like they are recruiting kids

    for a tldr, they removed the cap at 40, so you can be older than 40 and join active service

I know in 2017 for a fact that foreigners could (in the grey zone ofc) join the Russian military for contract after which you were promised a new identity in Russia an apartment if you settle in city or a small piece of land if you decide to settle in the countryside. Looks like those promises are fallen short of

  3. May their own children and grandchildren turn against them, for joining army. Cowards and killers have no morals- another Russian example.

  4. Ok but it will be pretty funny is all the boomers who are most pro war in Russia suddenly get notice that they are drafted

  5. russian send t62 on us, so they need squads for them… so squad – people who know how to use t62 can not be younger than 50-60 years old
