On the second Friday of each month “You Are Not Alone,” a Community Witness for Immigrants, Migrants, and Refugees will take place. The first gathering will take place on Friday, January 9 from 12:15 p.m. until 12:45 p.m.

The gathering will be held in Perry Square directly across and facing the Federal Courthouse. The 30-minute vigil has been sponsored by NETWORK’s Erie Chapter and Benedictines for Peace.

“We recognize the God-given dignity of every person among us. We claim our community as a place of welcome. We choose hope and unity over division and fear, which so many experience through the threat of deportation or family separation. We call for social justice.”
