It all started one evening in early May, in the city of Kazan, the capital of the republic of Tatarstan and one of the largest cities in Russia, which lies on the banks of two rivers, Volga and Kaznaka.

Nikita Kuznetsov, 28, was with friends at a place where you can play computer games, watch movies or just hang out. While his friends were busy, Kuznetsov was plunged deep in thought. He can’t say why these particular thoughts arose, only that they were about the biblical prophets and about Moses and about Jesus who both walked the desert alone, because when you walk alone you can hear God.
