Etihad Airways will launch direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Luxembourg from 29 October 2026, as the Middle East carrier continues to expand its European network.

Flights will operate three times weekly on Monday, Thursday and Saturday with the carrier’s new Airbus A321LR. The aircraft includes Etihad’s first-class suites, a business cabin with lie-flat seats, and economy seating.

The new route is in response to “growing demand” from travellers in the Benelux region, France, and Germany, the carrier said, adding that, when operations begin, it will be the only airline to offer nonstop service between Abu Dhabi to Luxembourg.

Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves said: “This route is about more than connectivity – it is about building new bridges between Europe and the UAE, unlocking opportunities for business, tourism and cultural exchange.”

Flights from Abu Dhabi will depart at 2:45am and arrive in Luxemburg at 6:55am. Meanwhile, services will leave Luxembourg Airport at 9:35am and arrive in the UAE capital at 7:05pm.
