The weather on January 10-12 will be characterized by variable cloudiness all over Moldova, according to the weather forecast. On 10 and 12 January, light snowfall is expected in places, while on 11 January, no significant precipitation is forecast.


Meteorologists warn that black ice will be present on the roads throughout the entire period, which may create difficulties for traffic.


The wind will blow from the northwest, light to moderate.


The thermal regime will remain low:


Nighttime minimum temperatures will drop to –15…–10°C in the north, –9…–5°C in the south, and –18…–12°C in the central regions.


Daytime highs will range between –10 and –5°C. On 10 January, in the south, values will reach up to –4°C, while on 11 January they will range between –12 and –7°C.


Authorities recommend that citizens dress appropriately and that drivers exercise caution, especially in the morning and evening, due to the risk of black ice formation.
