The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia invited fintech professionals, researchers, and subject matter experts to the Ninth Annual Fintech Conference. This event was co-organized with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, the University of Cambridge, and the Brookings Institution.
This conference is part of a series that provides a platform for fintech experts from various backgrounds to come together to discuss emerging issues in financial technology, their impact, and the appropriate policy responses.

This year’s discussion included notable speakers and experts and incorporated more focus on recent shifts in the fintech landscape, including:
the new roles of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and stablecoin;
the use of fintech and artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and to improve cross-chain solutions in finance;
the integration of DeFi and TradFi into the new financial landscape; and
real-world asset tokenization and the future of onchain finance.
