Hi,
I am coming to Oslo next week for a day or two (or more).
I would just like to ask you if its true that with **”Oslo pass”** I can use **all public transport** (including subway, tram, buses) in Oslo?
Oslo pass for 24 hours will cost me [445 NOK (43 euros)](https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=445&From=NOK&To=EUR).

Thank you

I’m not up to date on this years price for the Oslo pass, but it is correct that it includes all public transport in zones 1 and 2 (Oslo and surrounding area).I recommend the VisitOslo website for more information: [https://www.visitoslo.com/en/activities-and-attractions/oslo-pass/whats-included/](https://www.visitoslo.com/en/activities-and-attractions/oslo-pass/whats-included/free-public-transport/)
Thats a ripoff, just buy a 24-hour ticket at ruter for 117 NOK. That includes all public transport, sub, metro, buses even the ferries to the islands in the Oslo fjord. Buy it with the ruter-app or directly at their office at the central station
What else does this pass include?
According to their own website, Oslo Pass gives you:
-free admission to 30 museums and sights
-unlimited travel with the public transport system throughout Oslo
-rebates on sightseeing, concert tickets, climbing, ski rental, Tusenfryd Amusement Park and special offers in restaurants, shops, entertainment and leisure venues
I did the Oslo pass for two days to see the museums, and just got a transport-only 24 hour pass for the days I was not going to the museums. It worked out well! It includes the ferries also. Keep an eye on the zones of where you want to go, if you are going outside Oslo, but if you are just there for a day or so, you probably want to hang out right in Oslo anyway.
Oslo, pass. Ftfy.
Why do you need it? All you need is the ticket to get out of oslo
One thing which is included with Oslo Pass which is not included on a “normal” Public Transport-ticket is the [ferry out to the museums](https://www.visitoslo.com/en/product/?tlp=2983183&name=Bygdoyfergene) at Bygdøy (Fram, Kon-Tiki, Maritime, Viking Ships (closed for renovations) and Cultural History). Taking the ferry out there is much more pleasant than taking the bus. So if your plans include any of those museums, that is an added bonus.
Yes it does, but check if you are only going to use the public transport you can just buy a day pass on ruter
What about simple electric scooter rent?
Something that I can use for a whole day, from morning till evening?
Could you suggest to me something perhaps that works well?
What about some good **app map navigation** for Oslo, with attractions and interesting sights if I’ll go on foot, walking around the city?
Maybe hijacking this thread a bit but how many people actually pay for public transport in Oslo? My girlfriend insists that it’s “free”…
Yes. For a visitor, Oslo pass is worth every cent!
Sure, that works, but it pays off if you use it for everything that it offers. If you plan to use Oslo Pass just for public transport then it’s extremely expensive (regular 24h ticket in the Ruter app is a little above 100 NOK).
