“We seem to forget that Belarus is under very tight control by Russia.”

Analyst Artsiom Shraibman explains why Belarus will not be like Venezuela, where Americans recently abducted Maduro and control the transit of power.

“We seem to forget that Belarus is under very tight control by Russia and that it would supposedly remain inactive in these scenarios,” Shraibman reflects in the YouTube show “Hadzinnichak Tsikae” (The Clock is Ticking).

“It seems to me that if a scenario of radical redrawing of the political field occurs, then – Russia’s hands are already untied – this scenario invites it to say: excuse me, this will not happen according to your scenario. Here’s Rosgvardia, it will define the parameters. We have ‘Areshnik’ (a detention center/prison) there, we supposedly have nuclear weapons there (at this moment they will certainly appear, at least in the news field).”

“Such scenarios in Belarus today and in the near future, as long as Russia has not crumbled, for me, most likely lead to a simple occupation scenario,” Shraibman expressed his opinion.
