Ulster’s trip to the Netherlands hasn’t proven totally fruitless as the province have been awarded a 28-0 win and the full five points from their now abandoned Challenge Cup tie with the Toyota Cheetahs, qualifying them for the knockout stages of the tournament.

Ulster were due to face the South Africans in ‘s-Hertogenbosch on Sunday afternoon, however freezing temperatures overnight rendered the pitch at Dukes Rugby Club unplayable and the match was postponed just an hour before kick-off by French referee Kevin Bralley.
