On January 12th, Anatoly Glaz, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkiye, met with Ahmet Yener, the Chairman of Turkiye’s Supreme Election Council, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
At the meeting, representatives from Belarus and Turkiye discussed the results of the Turkish delegation’s visit to Belarus in October 2025. During that visit, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus and Turkiye’s Supreme Election Council signed a partnership memorandum. They also assessed the progress made in implementing the previously agreed arrangements.
“The parties acknowledged the high level of professional co-operation between the two countries’ election bodies, discussed priority areas for further inter-ministerial co-operation — such as sharing experience in organising and conducting electoral campaigns — and explored future possible joint activities,” the Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted.
