>i work with Red Cross, recieving and helping ukranian refugees in Denmark. Working here has confirmed or worsened all my biases about romas. They tend to be pushy, loud and aggressive when we can’t give them exactly what they want. (One woman was angry that they weren’t allowed to take the coats belonging to the staff in the backroom with her). They have attempted to steal from our supply room multiple times and we have seen several come back to us after getting thrown out of the hotels the refugees came from, after starting fights. They get drunk in the middle of the day and smoke in clear no-smoking zones. And most importantly, many aren’t even ukranian refugees, but romanians or neighboring countries who have exploited the war to sneak through borders with the refugees. I’m sorry but any country that lets these people in en masse will regret it. Many states have tried for a long time to socialize and integrate this culture with no luck. They don’t care and do not want to. It’s a venomous culture.
*Many Roma who left Prague for Germany later returned, she says, including some who reported that police in Dresden refused to allow them to disembark from their train.*
To měli udělat i u nás.
My v praci pouzivame termin RoE nebo-li return of experience… Kdo chce dalsi pijavice, agresory, alkoholiky, zlodej, fetaky, neprizpusobive a lidi bez ZS? Ja ne 😉 Zkusenosti s podobnyma mame dost – Usti nad Labem, Cejl (Brno), Decin, Most, Litvinov atd..

Why are they in Czechia if they have Hungarian citizenship? Didn’t they also reject offers for a place to stay as the Prague mayor said? https://www.novinky.cz/domaci/clanek/na-nadrazi-je-romu-min-dal-spi-na-zemi-40397865 similarly in Brno. https://www.idnes.cz/brno/zpravy/romove-uprchlici-ukrajina-hlavni-nadrazi-kasarny-zidenice.A220503_121311_brno-zpravy_zubr
In any case, I wonder where all the Romea-like non-govs are doing right now and whether Czech Romas express some support for their own kin.
