The U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s INTUITIVE® Planetarium is in the running for the top planetarium in the country in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards program.
People can vote daily through Feb. 18 at 11 a.m., CST, to support the Space & Rocket Center planetarium. People can vote by visiting this link.
A panel of experts nominated planetariums around the country for the awards program, with USA TODAY 10BEST editors choosing the final slate of candidates for the top 10. The 10BEST awards highlight the top venues in a variety of travel and lifestyle categories, including planetariums.
The INTUITIVE Planetarium is currently second in the voting.
The INTUITIVE Planetarium opened in February 2019 and has since provided spectacular views of the cosmos through live, interactive shows daily and with each Friday evening’s “Cocktails & Cosmos.”
With an 8K project system and a 67-foot dome, the planetarium provides an immersive experience.
