JERUSALEM –
Israel’s foreign ministry said Tuesday it is severing ties with three international organizations, including two agencies of the United Nations, following the United States’ withdrawal from 66 global bodies last week.
The ministry added that its chief, Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, had also instructed it to review Israel’s continued cooperation with an unspecified number of other organizations.
In a statement on social media platform X, it said that “Saar has decided that Israel will immediately sever all contact with the following U.N. agencies and international organizations.”
