Malta will select its Eurovision 2026 entry through “MESC 2026” (The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026).

The hosts of the shows will be:

Destiny Chukunyere: The singer represented Malta in Eurovision 2021, where she finished 7th in the final. She was also the winner of Junior Eurovision 2015.

Gaia Cauchi: The winner of Junior Eurovision 2013.

“MESC 2026” – Known Details

The selection process will feature a semi-final and a grand final.

The semi-final will take place on Thursday, January 15th, 2026.

The final will take place on Saturday, January 17th, 2026. 12 artists will qualify for the final.

The results will be based on public votes and jury votes.

Destiny Chukunyere, Gaia Cauchi, and Keane Cutajar will host the shows.

Interval acts will be:

Semi-final: Tommy Cash, Gaia Cauchi, Ivan Grech & Band, Jamie Cardona

Final: Baby Lasagna, Miriana Conte, Scream Daisy, Destiny

Malta has been allocated to perform in the 2nd half of semi-final 2, which will be held on May 14th, 2026.

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
