The potential of all government agencies will be maximised in preparation for the 13th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia – as stated by Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic Vladislav Tatarinovich who heads the organising committee
After the first meeting of the organising committee for the preparation and holding of the 13th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, scheduled to be held in Minsk and the Minsk Region on June 25th-26th, Mr. Tatarinovich noted that about Br900m of contracts were signed at the 12th
forum in Nizhny Novgorod, and this year’s event should show not worse results.
“In 2025, the forum will be devoted to the topic of economic co-operation between the regions, and this is an extremely relevant issue,” the Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic said. “Belarus’ President has repeatedly instructed all government agencies to work to develop the country’s economic potential. Considering that over the years the forum has established itself as a good and constructive platform for, among other things, problematic issues, the search for new areas of co-operation and scaling, we plan to maximise the potential of all government agencies in the country in preparation for the 13th
forum. We will take this issue under strict control.”
The meeting agreed on the work of ten sections, which will be devoted to the main blocks of co-operation between Belarus and Russia: economy, social sphere, industry, agriculture, and tourism. “These are the points of mutual interest to us, and we have good potential for the future here,” Mr. Tatarinovich added. “In addition to the business programme of the forum, our guests will also be introduced to the traditions of the Belarusian regions: a cultural programme is planned as well.”
