I’m getting tired of this bunch of lying, cheating and polluting assholes. Strict regulations to protect nature, our food supply and animal welfare are urgently needed. And those farmers not willing to adhere to those regulations need to be shut down (and sued) instead of getting even more subsidies or buyouts.
For those that are willing to start living in the 21st century, we can put up minimum prices, so the supermarkets have to stop exploiting them.
Properly punish farmers for breaking rules, and increase the minimum price of meat in supermarkets. We need to understand that eating meat daily is selfish, unsustainable and immoral, then take the subsidies that were given to this sector and send it to the meat replacement sector (which has already massively improved the last decade).
They should put these pictures on the packaging and cut the subsidies of the sector.

Als we dan toch niet allemaal vegetarisch/vegan kunnen/willen worden, is het op z’n minst tijd om ervoor te zorgen dat de beesten toch in deftige omstandigheden kunnen leven voor ze geslacht worden.
Wetgever moet hier iets aan doen, varkens zijn slimmer dan honden btw…
Hier lezen dat jullie beseffen dat die dieren geen goed leven hebben gehad en er toch bewust voor kiezen om vlees te blijven eten is gewoon absurd.

I don’t see why we have to pay subsidies from our taxes (to these assholes) if we don’t consume animal products.. i d rather pay them to meat and dairy substitutes.. this is like a dictatorship of corruption.
I became plantbased/Vegetarian for my body first.. Then I learned more about the environment so I started caring about that and with this crap I feel like I might also be contributing to better lifes for animals.
We’re totally not there yet, but if I can make the switch (as a HEAVY meat eater) than others can do too! Cheers!
Yeah this is why we try to avoid pork as much as we can, and why we try to buy using the deeleendier platform. It’s more expensive ( tastes way better than store bought ), but at least there is some guarantee of better treatment of animals.
Hunting for meat is one thing – but making money on it is a completely different thing.
“Small” spoiler: for eggs industry male chicken are useless – so they are bread to have separate color than female. When they hatch, they are sent on the line where machine separates them based on color – and live male chicken go to meat blender.. Seeing just hatched baby chicken being sent live to a meat blender and disappearing in 2 seconds is just tough…

It’s a horrible, immoral industry, but good luck getting anything done as long as people feel entitled to eat meat every day.
