I wonder if Mr. Ben Hodges would be willing to volunteer his 2 adult children to sign up for mandatory conscription to “stop Russia”? Or does he expect bordering nations to take care of a mess we didn’t create?
All talk, no action
Then stop them
Or are you afraid you wont have enough fuel?
It should be stopped before Ukraine if possible
Still flabbergasted that everybody just lets all of this happen.. Made me lose all trust in politics.. We have to stand up as mankind.
We are about seven years too late. And when he was head of the US Army in 2014-2017, he had every opportunity to make his case to two Presidents, from two parties. And he failed, if he tried at all.
>While it’s not clear whether Russia aims to capture or occupy all of Ukraine, it is very clear that the Kremlin is prepared to use all its capabilities to enforce the “red lines” Russian President Vladimir Putin has so far refused to define.
Fuck yes, at least somebody is saying it out loud. The red lines are real and Russia is serious about acting on them.
This a refreshingly honest take. Decide to do what you will, but don’t be surprised at the consequences.
>If the combined diplomatic and economic power of the EU, in concert with the United States and the U.K., are inadequate to deter Russia from its current path, then we are in for a long, cold winter.
I’m not sure what he’s proposing, but it’s quite obvious that what they did so far did not do much to change Russian behavior. At least not for the better, relatively speaking.

Oh, I guess he never read the part where [Russia and Moldova successfully renegotiate the deal and they still pay half the market price for it](https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/russias-gazprom-moldova-sign-5-year-gas-deal-2021-10-29/), because most Western media outlets didn’t bother to cover it for SOME REASON.
