Thank you for taking the time to read through the Quantum Gospel of Philip with me. Hopefully, my attempt to connect the dots between these teachings and the ones found in the lost Gospels of Thomas, Mary, and Truth was helpful and inspiring to you in your own search for experiential knowledge of the Christ.
Personally, my own spiritual journey has been enriched by spending time immersed in the Gospel of Philip, and I am grateful to everyone who has helped me to better understand this text. The realization that there were early Christians who understood the teachings of Jesus through this lens of Oneness and non-duality gives me hope for the Christian faith in general, and for the future spiritual development of the human race specifically.
As Iāve said in my previous books in this Quantum Theology series, I really do believe that these simple teachings of our shared Divinity and shared Humanity are the answer to everything. From poverty and tribalism to war and genocide, the reality of our quantum entanglement with the source of all being and the original Divine consciousness is the only thing that can truly save our species from total extinction.
If we can all truly see one another as one humanity, one human race connected to one another by a single quantum consciousness, then none of us could ever again even imagine doing harm to another person. If we could look at one another and not see āthe otherā but only see a reflection of ourselves, then violence, hatred, evil, and exploitation would cease. If we could look at our enemy and see, not an enemy, but the very face of God reflected back at us, then we might finally learn to love one another as we are dearly loved.
As I write this, my country has just illegally invaded a sovereign nation, killed over 80 innocent people with drone strikes and missile attacks, and abducted that nationās President and his wife from their bed in the dark of night. World War III seems imminent as leaders of other nations threaten to retaliate swiftly if the President of Venezuela is not returned immediately to his home country. Our leaders talk about moving forward to take over other nations, including Greenland, Mexico, Colombia, and even Canada.
Internally, our United States feels more divided than any of us could have ever imagined. Our news outlets divide us. Our social media platforms polarize us. Our leaders stoke the fires of separation. No one urges us to listen to one another, or to awaken from the nightmare of tribalism, or to step back from the threat of another civil war.
If anything, the hope of ever finding our way to Oneness and Connection feels as far away as the East from the West.
From genocide in the Middle East to war in Ukraine; from political hate in the media to religious divisions separating families and ending marriages and friendships, all I see, everywhere I look, is pure division and separation.
But, in spite of all of this, perhaps we are closer to our great spiritual awakening than we might think.
Iām reminded of a conversation I had a few months ago with my friend, author Mary Terhune, who wrote the book, Out of the Blue. In that conversation, I kept hearing her talk about our great awakening, but, of course, I couldnāt understand what she was referring to. So, when I asked her why she kept talking about this collective awakening into Oneness, her answer really stunned me and made me step back to reevaluate the way I was seeing my world.
What she said was this:
āAwakening happens in chaos. Itās showing us, quite frankly, (and asking us) ādo you want to live this way, (in horizontal chaos)? Or do you want to live (in vertical connection and oneness with shared Divine consciousness)? Which way do you want to live? This is what is being shown to us in absolute clarity. Nothing could be clearer. Hereās our choice. This is your free willā¦if you want to keep living (in chaos), youāre going to live in suffering. If you want to live (in connection with the Divine reality), youāre going to live in freedom. This is why we can see division so clearly. Itās either the Egoic way or the Oneness way. As Eckhart Tolle says, āTransformation happens in chaos.āā
That perspective really made me stop and think about how I should understand the chaos weāre living through right now. The only way for us as a species to take this major step forward in our spiritual development is to finally, once and for all, make a choice about how we want to live our lives. This current upheaval of reality is necessary for the transformation of the human race. We have to decide that freedom is what we really want, and if so, the only way we can have it is if we choose to reject tribalism and separation.
When I mentioned this to my wife, Wendy, her comment added another angle to this concept that really brought it home for me. She said,Ā āItās like experiencing birth pangs.ā
Exactly.
So, my inability to āseeā our Awakening in progress is because my focus is often on the birthing and not the baby on the way. In other words, the suffering weāre experiencing now is evidence that the new life is about to enter the world.
Our reality is inevitably moving into an awareness and awakening of Oneness, and the proof of that is the current experience of division, separation, and chaos weāre moving through now.
Our suffering is the evidence of our hunger for peace. Our momentary divisions are the proof of our eternal connection. Our experience of chaos is what is leading us to calm.
Do we have eyes to see this? Do we have ears to hear? Are we ready for the end of suffering and division? Are we eager for the awakening into Oneness and the celebration of our shared Divinity and Humanity?
Honestly, I donāt expect this process to be quick. Nor do I expect this transition to be a painless one. Sadly, it may need to get a lot worse before it ever begins to get better. Every childbirth involves its own measure of pain, tears, and bloodshed.
Thankfully, we have the witness of Jesus, and of Mary Magdalene, and of the Gospel of Philip, and the Gospel of Truth, and the wisdom of Quantum Physics to guide us through the coming storm and into the next phase of human spiritual development. A phase where we embrace our shared Divinity and we accept our shared Humanity as truths that are self-evident and non-negotiable.
In the meantime, I hope you will do your part to hold on tight to these truths and to shine this light of Oneness and Non-Duality into your corner of the world. We need more voices of unity that will remind us of who we are and inspire us to look beyond the physical illusion of separation and into the deeper reality of Quantum connection.
Remember, it is Christ in you that is our best hope. Christ in you, and in me, is what will bring us all to the place of awakening. Because Christ has no body now but yours, and mine.
We are the people we have been waiting for.
As we change, the world around us will change as well.
The Quantum consciousness is already beginning to shift.
