Good old Beeb downplaying it, anyone looking and seeing it’s gone up 40p would think “well that’s not too bad”, perhaps they could show other food items which have risen by way more than 9%, sausages and bacon have hardly risen at all, eggs by a little, baked beans by a little, bread by a little, most other things a lot more than a little.
