Moldova condemned the discovery of a Russian drone of the “Gerbera” type on the country’s territory in the Telenești district. The agency calls this a violation of sovereignty and a threat to national security. The incident was reported by Realitatea media.

The MFA added that the country will continue to invest in peace and security to protect the state and its citizens.
Details of the incident
The drone, about 2.5 meters long, was found in the morning of January 17 near the village of Nukareni in Telenești District on the shore of a pond.
It was spotted by a hunter who notified law enforcement. Experts determined that the drone did not contain explosives.
