Koul was handed a two-year prison sentence.
Last year he was jailed after he repeatedly punched a man in the head and face after he was told to turn the television down in the hostel where he was staying in Cardiff.
The victim was left bleeding from his wounds as the assault spilled out into the street.
On the occasion he was jailed for 16 months and it was heard that he had travelled to the UK in May 2024 from South Sudan in order to seek asylum.
