I anticipated that so many pets that were bought during the pandemic would be neglected/abandoned once people started going back to the workplace. Add in this cost of living crisis and things are going to get very tough on our furry friends.
Surely we can export them to East Asia?
Get British business booming again.
Who are these people… like we all hear about the pet abandoners but does anyone actually know someone like this? Every single person I know that has a pet treats it like a child.
It’s not due to cost of living, it’s due to people going back to work in the office, no longer a novelty or now want a social life again so can’t be arsed to look after the pets.
Dog/cat/rabbit etc food isn’t that expensive. You can buy large bags that will last weeks if not months if stored correctly.
