Who enters those shops anyway? LOL offline retail is dead in Prague, except maybe for the big names in Mustek and Palladium.
Edit: It’s a fake, this was just an early comment assuming it could be possibly true without further research considering that here may have been a few individuals similar to those in odd facebook groups.
What is the source of the picture? When or where was is it taken? Smells like a bullshit, probably is.
Probably some Russian shop. If it is even legit…
This piece of “news” is yet another attempt of Russian propaganda to make Ukrainians feel unwelcome and to steer public opinion of Czechs against them.
It’s propaganda, if anything I see Ukrainian flags and support everywhere, I’ve never seen the opposite.
I think its because there were news saying that three ukraine women enter clothes store, took some stuff, and then left without paying, because they said ukrainians should get everything for free
Wtf
I think that shop owners don’t want to deal with ukrainian refugees leaving with clothes withut paying
Our local ukranian cafe Marmelada had a sign that said “we don’t serve russian occupants” for a while, so I don’t really mind them ukranians seeing the other side of the coin lol.
If it is true, iam afraid, that their windows are not gonna last long.
Definitely not the city, some shithead owners might. On the linked twitter post (from fellow commenter) someone already suggests providing feedback through a google review.
Just stupid owner, WHO Is for Russia.
I can’t speak about this store but my wife is Ukrainian and has lived in Prague for almost 20 years. She’s gotten a lot of shit from Czechs over the years before the war happened. This isn’t anything new. It just sticks out like a sore thumb now more than before.
This is the case of one or at max a few absolutely braindead shop owners. Most of the Czech republic supports Ukraine
I’d just recommend writing a czech translation on top of it.
So that everyone can read what they feel like about the situation and decide whether they want to shop there.
Russian propaganda. Please don’t invade us next
I dont know about shops, but lower income people, and even some higher income ones, are getting increasingly iritated by free services these mostly, middle class, UA ppl who come here get.

This is fake and already debunked.
What wasn’t fake, however, was Czechs and Ukrainians forbidding Russians from entering their stores.
PLEASE EVERYONE! READ IT!
