Chai Nashta combines cafe and community space with charm and good vibes

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Business and life partners Sasha Vivek and Britt Gilbert recently opened a unique space in West Philadelphia offering light bites and authentic chai.

The cafe aspect of Chai Nashta is just the start – the business also opens their doors to the community, making the space available to residents and groups who want to host events. Sasha is from New Delhi, India and says the way she grew up making ‘masala chai’ is how they make it at the cafe, and guests can customize the blend of spices used.

The menu also includes drinks like turmeric milk, and sandwiches like a butter chicken panini, as well as a veggie panini.
