This week on Royally Us, Prince Harry returns to London’s High Court as part of his nine-week legal battle against British tabloids, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton head to Scotland and Meghan Markle jumps on the 2016 trend.
Harry, 41, has made several public appearances at London’s High Court amid his lawsuit against the publishers of the Daily Mail. Court documents claim the alleged intrusion into his private life left the Duke of Sussex feeling “paranoid beyond belief,” placing strain on his mental health and personal relationships.
The trial comes just weeks after the Duke of Sussex won his years-long U.K. security battle in which the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) conducted a risk assessment review of Harry’s trips to the U.K. and deemed him eligible for armed protection going forward.
“This is a huge victory for Harry and opens the door fairly wide for his return to the U.K. sometime in the near future,” royal author Christopher Andersen, who wrote the book Brothers and Wives, told Us Weekly exclusively.
However, the royal family did not stay in London this week despite Harry’s presence, instead Kate, 44, and William, 43, kicked off their Scotland visit on Tuesday, January 20. They attended the National Curling Academy in Stirling where they met Olympic and Paralympic curlers ahead of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Kate showed off her competitive side and her curling skills in a head-to-head moment against William.
On Monday, January 19, King Charles stepped out at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, attending a reception honoring Scottish leaders and community members where the monarch sampled local whisky.
