Has anyone tried this place? A zero waste store in Galway city centre, The Filling Station. Was thinking of sticking my head in but would like to know if anyone here has already been, what it’s like, product quality, etc. Thanks in advance!

You’ll have to stick your head in and report back to us.
I haven’t been in there but I do know the brand of reusable nappies that they sell are very good.
One of these in clonakilty as well
Yeah it’s popular, especially given the demographics of Galway. I’ve popped in a few times but it’s a bit expensive for what it’s selling in my opinion
Can’t speak for Galway, but there’s a similar set up in [Kildare](https://www.unpacked.ie/) if you’re over that side of the country. Absolutely class
There a similar setup in Rathminea in Dublin. It’s a good idea, but it does seem a bit pricey.
500g of porridge in Dunnes or Lidl is 99c, it’s €3.56 in the zero packaging place. I understand that there may be a cost for going green, especially in a small independent store that doesn’t have economies of scale, but that sort of a price just isn’t viable.
Savage. I love this
Great shop
I get shampoos bars from there, they’ve some delicious flavours
Great spot. If you go, bring in jars or boxes so you’ll have a way to buy anything you want to try. Prices are per weight so you don’t have to try large amounts of price is a concern. I think the prices are generally comparable for similar quality. If we’re comparing Tesco own brand olive oil then it will seem more expensive.
There is another shop outside of Galway in Moycullen. Nice little store..coffee and brownies are very good
