Russian Drone Attack Damages Homes and Infrastructure in Chornomorsk Odesa

A morning wave of attacks by Russian drones struck the Chornomorske community in the Odesa region, resulting in the destruction of private houses and other damage to civilian infrastructure.

This was reported by the mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Huliaev.

According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, during the attack one person was injured: a 50-year-old man with a leg wound; he was hospitalized.

In the area, private residential houses were destroyed and damaged; also a warehouse building with furniture production was destroyed.

There were no injuries; residents of the houses were in shelters.

All relevant services are working to address the aftermath of the incident.

An air-raid alert was issued in the Odesa district at 6:06.

Initially the Air Forces reported drones from the Black Sea waters heading toward Chornomorsk, later toward Lymanka.

The all-clear sounded at 7:10.

Chronology of the event and its consequences

Destruction and damage were recorded in the private sector of the Chornomorsk community, and a de-energization of a furniture warehouse was also recorded. Rescue services are coordinating actions to ensure the safety of the population and the restoration of infrastructure.
