Research Ireland and the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) invite applications for UK–Ireland Collaboration in the Creative Economy – Research Networking Awards. This 12-month funding opportunity supports the formation of research networks and collaborative networking activities between creative economy researchers and stakeholders in Ireland and the UK. Eligible projects must be genuinely collaborative, involve research organisations and industry partners in both countries, and focus on partnership development, networking events, mobility, engagement and knowledge exchange.
Applications must be submitted as a single joint proposal via the UKRI Funding Service, with a UK project lead and an Irish project co-lead. The call is open to independent investigators holding a minimum 50% FTE contract with an eligible research body. Postdoctoral researchers are not eligible.
Maximum Irish direct costs are €35,000, plus overheads. Deadline: 24 March 2026.
