Dumb Aussie tourist here, had an interesting malfunction using Google Translate while trying to buy some ice cream today…

3. That Google Translate feature seems to be working about as well as when I was trying to use it in Taiwan just before the pandemic.

   Perhaps it’s the OCR process that’s the issue in both cases, not the translation process…

   We do have both carbon and porn, I guess. 🙂

9. What malfunction? It literally translates to that cobber

10. Word of warning. You’re gonna look at an 88 and think, this looks like a Gaytime! And then, you might buy one. And you will be bitterly disappointed. They are nothing like a Gaytime.

    I moved here from Qld 10 years ago, and haven’t had a Gaytime since.

11. This is outrageous, I can’t believe they translated the middle part wrong its suppose to be konkelbär

12. As someone experienced with aussie tourists I would preemptively like to point out that the “Nogger” Icecream is named after [Nougat](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_nougat). Nothing else!

    And we don’t talk about the Nogger black.
