MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WKBT) — Vice President J.D. Vance will visit Minneapolis Thursday.
According to a memo from the White House Wednesday afternoon, the Vice President will “hold a roundtable with local leaders and community members and will deliver remarks focused on restoring law and order in Minnesota.”
The VP’s planned visit comes as the Twin Cities have seen weeks of unrest since expanded ICE operations and the death of Renee Nicole Good involving ICE officer Jonathon Ross.
Those expanded ICE operations came on the heels of massive fraud allegations against Somali-run daycare facilities.
