Five Malta entities jointly promoted the country’s gaming jurisdiction at ICE Barcelona 2026 through “Make it in Malta,” combining the Malta Gaming Authority, GamingMalta, Identità, Malta Enterprise, and Bank of Valletta in a single delegation.
The coordinated presence was intended to present Malta’s integrated gaming ecosystem and show how licensing and regulation, investment support, visa and identity services, and banking worked together within the jurisdiction.
“Our aim is to continue positioning Malta as the jurisdiction of choice for operators who value stability, clarity, and long term partnership,” said Charles Mizzi, CEO of the MGA. “Through this coordinated presence, we are demonstrating the strength of our ecosystem and our commitment to supporting sustainable growth across the industry.”
Representatives from the participating entities met industry stakeholders throughout ICE 2026, shared insights and pointed to initiatives supporting Malta’s position as a resilient, forward looking jurisdiction.
ICE 2026 took place in Barcelona from January 19 to 21 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The event welcomed more than 63,783 visitors, 589 global exhibitors, 294 verified regulators and 196 speakers from 186 countries.
Malta’s delegation said it looked forward to connecting with partners, industry leaders and stakeholders during the event.
