Angela will lead a breakout session titled “AI in the Deal!”, designed specifically for transactional attorneys who want practical, responsible ways to integrate artificial intelligence into their daily practice. Her session focuses on how AI can support every stage of a transaction, from early diligence through closing and post-deal management. Attendees will gain guidance on using AI tools to:
Accelerate contract drafting and review
Enhance due diligence processes
Improve deal organization and management
Identify and assess key risks with greater accuracy
The session will include demonstrations of real-world workflows tailored to transactional law, showing how AI can be used to improve efficiency without sacrificing professional judgment. Angela will also address critical ethical considerations, including confidentiality, data protection, and the lawyer’s ongoing responsibility to supervise and validate AI-assisted work.
Angela’s perspective is shaped by her deep experience at the intersection of law, data privacy, and emerging technology. Notably, she was one of the first attorneys in the nation to earn the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)—an inaugural credential recognizing advanced knowledge of AI governance, risk management, and responsible deployment.
