TOLEDO, Ohio — Vice President JD Vance is set to visit Toledo Thursday, where he will deliver remarks alongside Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamey.
Vance is expected to visit an “industrial shipping facility” in Toledo, though his office did not specify which shipping facility it would be due to security reasons.Â
The vice president will deliver remarks during his visit, “highlighting the Trump Administration’s commitment to lower prices, bigger paychecks, and creating more good-paying jobs in Ohio and across the Midwest,” according to a press release from Vance’s office Tuesday.Â
More details were released on Wednesday, though the name of the facility is not being shared due to security concerns. Guests are asked to register at this link before attending the event.Â
Attendees are asked to arrive at 2611 Front St. for parking and will be shuttled to the site. Doors open for Vance’s visit at 6:30 a.m., and will close at 8:15 a.m.
The program is expected to begin at 8:20 a.m. Ramaswamy is scheduled to speak at 8:35 a.m. and will be followed by Vice President Vance. Originally, Vance was set to speak at noon. Those details were changed Wednesday.Â

WTOL 11 is reporting live from both outside the bus shuttle site for attendees, and inside the facility from which Vance is expected to be speaking. By 7 a.m., buses were bringing the public to the facility from the parking location. From inside the facility, crowds of people had already gathered.Â
