This morning, a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) found in the village of Krokmaz in the Stefan-Vodi district of Moldova was found to contain explosives, the Moldovan police posted on its Telegram channel, APA reports.

It is reported that due to the immediate threat, specialists from the police’s explosives department will carry out a controlled explosion at the scene.

The level of danger is currently being assessed, and necessary measures are being taken to neutralize the combat unit of the aircraft and investigate all circumstances of the incident.

Note that the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on the incident, called it a “gross violation of Moldova’s sovereignty.”
