Zabijačka season arrives

Zabijačka, the centuries-old Czech pig slaughter tradition, is kicking off at Prague’s breweries and restaurants. FUZE gets into the swing of things with a four-day feast (Jan. 22–25) at their Masaryčka location, serving hearty specialties like blood sausages, pork scratchings, and traditional broth alongside house-brewed craft beers. On Jan. 24, Automat Matuška on Hradčanská comes alive with jitrnice, jelity, and tlačenka, paired with a special Vejmrda sour beer.
